Bio

Lindsay Manolakos is a Brooklyn based painter.  She works primarily in oils but experiments with some other fun materials every now and then.  She emphasizes color as much as form and leans very far into the vibrant side of the spectrum.  

Lindsay's work explores the beauty of the universe and humanity's place within it.  Being fascinated both with the cosmos and human nature, her work allows you to feel both insignificant and magnificent.  

Lindsay has also been teaching algebra for about a decade to the tweens and teens of Brooklyn.  It may seem like a profession inconstant with an artist, but Lindsay doesn't fit very well into any one box.
