Artist Statement
I have been painting off and on for almost a decade. I took some
time off to travel around the world and some more to become a teacher. But I always manage to come back to it and usually
with more vigor than when I left. From all the things I’ve seen, good and bad, I’ve come to the conclusion that
it’s the positive in humanity over the negative that I want to highlight with my work. That idea is present throughout,
as is a vibrant and varied color palate.
